About Me
My love for the Park goes back to the late 1970s when I first visited this spectacular destination.
After moving to NZ in the 1980s those visits took a bit of a break, and in wasn’t before the mid-1990s when I was employed overseas that I was able to return to the Park annually.
Returning to NZ at the millenium I made it my ambition to be able to spend long periods in the Park and started planning accodingly.
In 2017 we had a motorhome built for us and along with our Suzuki Jimny, we we ready for extended periods in the Park.
After retiring we spent 8 months in Kruger in 2018 and I was able to indulge in my newfound passion of wildlife photography.
Since 2018, I have spent over 460 days in the Park, which on average means around two months each year (with the exception of the two Covid years when travel was restricted).
Having spent so much time in Kruger I have an extensive knowledge of the Park, its roading network, dams, 'hot spots', and its animals and bird. I have spent hundreds of hours observing these animals am therefore well versed in their behaviours.
I run these tours at a 'cost price' only with no profit for me. I do it so I can share my passion for African wildlife, and wildlife photography in particular, and would love you to join me.
I currently live in Blenheim on the South Island of New Zealand.
